When your neighbors and friends speak to you about “how great their church” is, how are we to respond?
By telling them the "Truth In A Nutshell."
There is absolutely nothing whatsoever revealed in God's Word about the primacy and exaltation of a specialist who issues forth a monologue Sunday after Sunday, notwithstanding the literally myriads of messages
to the contrary.

"The Pastoral Office"
Do “your church leaders” repeatedly make you aware of your “rank”
in the church?
LIE OF THE WEEK
“True worship is what we do each Sunday in the house of God!”
Is it okay to have salaried positions “in-the-church?”
Absolutely not. Why? Because there are no such “positions in the church!” Whoever it was that suddenly decided to receive a salary was the first to set an unbiblical precedent.
In the New Testament, nobody received a salary. Jesus, Paul, the twelve apostles, and every other servant in the New Testament never received a salary. Is “your pastor” greater than these? Who was more worthy to receive a salary than the Son of God...and yet He didn't! Jesus did not charge admission at the Sermon on the Mount and His teaching was far better than any conference, seminar, retreat, or any Sunday morning service you might find today.
Jesus did not expect the masses to feed Him. He fed the masses! Let “your pastor” try that on for size. But don’t hold your breath, that’s for sure!
